PTI 1/18th goliath
i have finally entered the world of rock crawling. after buying a used pti goliath rock crawler and reading up on it i have found more negative things then positive about it. but after doing some reading on how to change things up and make it a very capable crawler its starting to take shape.
i have done some upgrading to as of date. i have replaced all the cheap toe links and have added new traxxas parts. it beefed it up pretty good and now its more stable.
i have added a axial 55t motor,axial esc, traxxas rx/tx, changed out the gru-600 to a hpi gru with a 20t pinion, hi-tech 645mg servo
i have taken the original tires and rims off because they were dry rotted something terrible from sitting for so many years. i now have added axial beadlocks with pro line hammer tires.
i do have a split battery pack on order and i am hoping that will help change cog. i am going to try mounting it over the servo.
as i make more changes on this i will update my progress.
